Rana is a mental health counselor, currently completing her LMHC licensure in Florida, who will work with individuals, couples, and families navigating some of life's hardest transitions — from relationship strain to trauma to the quiet weight of building a life between two cultures.
Her approach is warm and direct: she believes therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation, not a script. Sessions will draw from evidence-based methods — including CBT, DBT, solution-focused, psychodynamic, and person-centered therapy — chosen and blended to fit what's actually happening in your life, not a one-size-fits-all framework.
Why "Noor"
Noor (نور) is Arabic for light. The name is a quiet promise: therapy, at its best, isn't about fixing what's broken — it's about finding your way back to something whole. Whatever brought you here, there's a way through it.
Why telehealth
Noor Therapy Group was built as a telehealth-only practice so that care isn't limited by geography, mobility, or a packed schedule. Sessions happen over secure video, from wherever you feel most comfortable — no commute, no waiting room.
A note on bicultural & immigration-related care
Rana has a particular interest in supporting clients navigating immigration-related stress, acculturation, and identity. Born in Egypt, she moved to New Jersey as a child and later settled in Florida — an experience that gave her a firsthand understanding of what it means to build a life across cultures, languages, and versions of home. This isn't legal counsel or immigration case support; it's therapeutic space for the emotional weight that so often comes with that kind of journey.
Where Rana will be licensed
Rana is completing her LMHC licensure and expects to begin seeing clients located in Florida in Fall 2026. She plans to pursue licensure in additional states after that — join the waitlist and we'll follow up as soon as she's licensed near you.
